Swetha, armed with a post-graduation in Media Studies and fueled by a deep passion for Art and Culture, consistently contributes to various media platforms, creating content related to traditional art forms, performance studies, aesthetics, and more.

Her journey into media commenced at the Public Service Broadcaster- Doordarshan, where she gained exposure to broadcast media, production, and presentation. This experience inspired her to shift her academic focus from the field of science to Arts and Humanities. Despite the shift, she always approached her work with a scientific mindset and a keen research eye.

During her Master’s studies in Mass Communication, Swetha interned at Doordarshan Kendra, Thrissur and later continued her stint in the program section as a programme assistant and presenter for various regional and national broadcasts. She hosted a series of interviews for Doordarshan Thiruvananthapuram and showcased her talent as an auditioned voice artiste and announcer at All India Radio. In Akashvani Thrissur, she served as an Announcer for four years, handling responsibilities ranging from live announcing, interviewe hosting, phone-in and phone-out program anchoring, and outdoor broadcasting.

Swetha’s expertise extends to on-camera presentations, interview hosting, and script writing for private media organizations like Asianet, TCV, and Invis Multimedia. Additionally, her flair for writing, nurtured since her school days, led her to create content for various print and digital media platforms. Proficient in both Malayalam and English, she actively collaborates with leading publications.
